Royal Parents

When Beatrice was just 8 years old, her parents got divorced but they all continued to live in the same house. Prince Andrew and Darah Ferguson stayed cordial with each other so that they can raise their two daughters well. But as years go by, Princess Beatrice has grown very protective of her mom. After getting involved in multiple scandals, she was expelled from the royal family. Surprisingly, Sarah’s relationship with Andrew was never affected.

Net Worth

Like most royal families, Beatrice is also funded by the British Monarchy because she is a princess. But that did not stop her from working outside of the royal empire. She works full-time in the business and was called a “business matchmaker.” What does a business matchmaker do? She specialized in connecting startups with potential investors in an American software company. It is said that her net worth is estimated at $10 million.

Charity Work

When Beatrice turned 18 years old in 2006, she stated that she was determined to use her royal position to help charity works. She may have participated in a charity before, but this was her first time to pledge in a campaign. She regularly joined her mother, Sarah Ferguson, whenever she visits several organizations that the Duchess of York supports. Beatrice also founded an organization of her own, Big Change. Along with 6 other friends, they established a charity to help the youth develop skills that cannot be learned within the conventional academic curriculum.

The Royal Engagement Ring

For one, Princess Beatrice’s wedding violated several conventional norms, and it began with her engagement ring. The royal family has been using Welsh gold for all of their wedding rings since about 1923. Princesses Kate, Eugine, and Meghan all followed the 100-year tradition. So what makes Beatrice’s unique? Well, her fiancé at the time, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, selected platinum for the ring. Regardless of all the drama that has surrounded the engagement diamond, it is unquestionably a beautiful ring!

The 31-year-old princess and her fiancé married in a private ceremony near Windsor Castle. In contrast to the grandiose celebration that was initially planned, they had a fairly low-key gathering. Her beautiful wedding gown is an antique gown from her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. Although a few changes were made, the modest embellishments made Beatrice appear wonderfully regal. One of the greatest aspects is that the bridal gown was fully authorized by the Queen. You have to admit, she looked stunning!

Who Designed The Dress?

Princess Beatrice’s wedding was unlike any other royal wedding in history. Rather than commissioning the finest dressmakers to create a bespoke gown for her, Beatrice opted for a retro look. Norman Hartnell created the gown she stole from her grandmother. The gown was constructed of beautiful silk fabric and organza, which was then finished with superb satin and adorned with diamante’.

What Were The Alterations?

Originally, Queen Elizabeth wore a stunning silk gown. So, for Princess’s big day, the dress had organza puff sleeves added where there had previously just been straps. In addition, the hemline of the skirt was straightened and finished with white satin, while before it was more of a puffball design. Beatrice was undeniably adorable!

Royal Tiara

But it wasn’t all. Beatrice stole her grandmother’s royal wedding tiara on her big day. The huge, magnificent diamond tiara was the crown Queen Elizabeth wore on her wedding day in 1947 when she married Prince Philip. Princess Beatrice looked stunning, and her homage to her royal ancestors was amazing. Don’t you believe she’s one of the luckiest royals?

Crown Jewels

It is fairly unusual for the royal family to borrow a tiara of their choosing from the Queen on their wedding day. Princess Beatrice, on the other hand, became the first royal bride of her age to wear the same tiara that her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, wore on the day she married the Duke of Edinburgh in 1947. What are your views about Beatrice being the favored grandchild?

The Wedding Bouquet

Patrice Van Helden, co-owner of RVH Floral Design, created the beautiful royal bridal bouquet that Beatrice carried during her wedding. RVH is no stranger to royal weddings, having created the flowers for Princess Eugenie’s big day. Over the years, the bridal bouquet has been a prominent element of every royal bides. Beatrice chose a bouquet of trailing jasmine, light pink and cream sweet peas, royal porcelain ivory spray roses, pink O’Hara garden roses, pink waxflower, and baby pink astilbe. One of the royal customs that the princess departed from was the way she integrated color into her bouquet. Previously, many royals selected an all-white bouquet.

According to reports, about 20 individuals (close relatives) attended the wedding. All visitors followed the government’s social distancing rules.

Following the wedding, Sarah Ferguson, the bride’s mother, sent a beautiful double-sided tag with pink ribbons to several royal supporters of the newlyweds. On one side of the message, there was an attachment of a photograph of the royal couple strolling hand in hand through the charming Royal gardens only seconds after they had tied the knot. Naturally, being members of the Royal British family, the newlyweds got many wonderful gifts from so many people. Because it was a modest wedding, family and friends wanted to make it a memorable occasion. One of the most emotional presents Princess Beatrice got was a white silk robe embroidered with “Mrs. MM” for Mrs. Mapelli Mozzi. Birch Hall was listed for sale in 2016 for £4.2 million. Before this, though, it was refurbished to add even more beautiful and absolutely out-of-this-world elements. The Georgian home is set on five acres of property, with plenty of lawn space, a tennis court, and, of course, its own outdoor heated swimming pool, as well as a separate two-bedroom cottage for employees. Traveling To Africa

During an interview with the Financial Times, property entrepreneur Edoardo Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi, who will marry Princess in July 2020, also hinted at the couple’s future travel plans. “With time on my hands, I would travel,” Mozzi explained. Africa never ceases to fascinate me: the people, the colors, the natural beauty, and the country’s humility. I’d like to see and learn more.” He went on to describe his goal and why it holds such a special place in his heart. “My brother and I spent seven years creating a cricket stadium in Kigali, Rwanda, and we get so much delight from seeing it utilized now that it’s completed.” Perhaps this will be the newlyweds’ first stop?

British Monarchy

Let’s take a closer look at the British royal family tree to learn more about some of the other royals. Many people overlook how impressive the British monarchy truly is. The House of Windsor, as we know it now, was established in 1917. The first Windsor monarch (King George V) was Queen Elizabeth’s grandfather, and today’s working royals are all descended from both King George and his wife, Queen Mary.

King George V and Mary of Teck had six children between 1894 and 1905, however, one of them died before reaching adulthood. Following the death of their eldest son, King George V, King Edward VIII inherited the throne until 1937, when he resigned as King. Following this, King Georg VI, King Edward VII’s younger brother, ruled for nearly 15 years. He and his wife, Queen Elizabeth, had two daughters during this time, Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margret.

Not long after the new royal couple married, they began welcoming the successor to the kingdom. Prince Charles, Queen Elizabeth, and Prince Philip’s first child were born in 1948. Princess Anne, the royal family’s first child, was born just one year later. Elizabeth and Phillip decided not to have any more children until ten years later. As a result, the royal couple welcomed another son, Prince Andrew, in 1960. Many people assumed The Queen and Charles had had their last child, but then The Queen gave birth to another Prince, Edward.

However, he never romantically considered Diana until the early 1980s, when he began seriously considering a potential bride. Prince Charles ultimately proposed to Diana in February 1981.

The Queen and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh even organized a reconciliation meeting between the two, but it was eventually fruitless, and the two split up. Soon later, facts of their marital problems became public, which startled many individuals both inside and beyond the royal family. Although many people believed Diana and Charles would reconcile, the couple divorced in 1996.

Similarly to most aspects of the wedding, where the pair had large says in almost every detail; the banquet followed this theme. An all white arrangement, the flowers were selected by Prince Harry prior to the wedding. Princess Diana’s favourite flower was the Forget-Me-Not. Also included were lily of the valley, astilbe, jasmine, astrantia and sweet pea flowers. In keeping with royal tradition, the arragnement included a sprig of myrtle; something dating back to the time of Princess Victoria, Queen Victoria’s daughter. Symbolizing hope and love, we believe it would be a great aspect of any bouquet irrespective of royal ties.

Returning to Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth hosted lunch for 650 guests. The evening reception was enjoyed by an even smaller number; the closest friends and family to the couple. The lunch reception took place in St. George’s hall, a room within Windsor castle. The evening reception reception took place in Frogmore House. Hosted by the Prince of Wales, 200 guests were invited to this reception.

Who Pays?

If we were following tradition here, surely the bride’s family would pay for the ceremony, among other wedding expenses. However, with a wedding of this magnitude, it is no surprise that the expenses were paid by the Royal Family. From a Kensington Palace statement, it was revealed that “The Royal Family will pay for the core aspects of the wedding, such as the church service, associated music, flowers, decorations and the reception”. With a bill like that, we aren’t certain many people would be able to pay for that. We suppose this is one of the effects of marrying a prince, right Meghan?
