The 31-year-old princess and her fiancé married in a private ceremony near Windsor Castle. In contrast to the grandiose celebration that was initially planned, they had a fairly low-key gathering. Her beautiful wedding gown is an antique gown from her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. Although a few changes were made, the modest embellishments made Beatrice appear wonderfully regal. One of the greatest aspects is that the bridal gown was fully authorized by the Queen. You have to admit, she looked stunning!

Princess Beatrice’s wedding was unlike any other royal wedding in history. Rather than commissioning the finest dressmakers to create a bespoke gown for her, Beatrice opted for a retro look. Norman Hartnell created the gown she stole from her grandmother. The gown was constructed of beautiful silk fabric and organza, which was then finished with superb satin and adorned with diamante’.
