Although the Emmy winner is one of the most well-known talk show hosts, he has not always made the best financial judgments. He declared bankruptcy in 1978. It was fortunate that he was able to recover from this.

It’s impossible to forget Mischa Barton from The O.C. if you’ve ever watched the show. She planned to pursue a film career after she departed the show in 2006. She quickly discovered, however, that it was far more difficult than it appeared. Her money account, along with her career, dried up. Her manager’s mother scammed her and took out loans in her name, making things even worse.
