After its parent company filed for bankruptcy, Papyrus, the greeting card, and the stationery chain will close all of its stores in the United States and Canada, another casualty of the long-running collapse of mall-based retail. Schurman Fine Papers, which runs 254 stores, including the brand Papyrus as well as the chains of American Greetings and Carlton Card, filed for relief from bankruptcy. All three store chains will close, but other retailers will still have the branded cards they sell available.
