Ashley Dunn Bratcher’s starting weight was 725 pounds. Because of her limited mobility, we saw the mother as a person in need of her son’s assistance with simple household tasks. She’s had a significant turnaround in her life. Having made the first step toward bettering her situation, she is now a content mother. As things stand, she can provide for her son in the way she always envisioned. In contrast to other alumni, her husband remained proud and supportive of her throughout the entire process. We learned about their tenth anniversary via Facebook.

David Bolton
When we first met David Bolton, he tipped the scales at a whopping 747 pounds. Because he was in such poor health, he could not perform many tasks on his own. As a result of this, he was frequently out of work. We’re sure he’s glad he made the leap. He lost 420 pounds during his time on the reality television show. He’s currently working hard to better himself, and he’s lost more weight since then. He also proposed to Carrie after a long period of time together.
