Rumblings suggest that Jones was not offered an additional extension by Dallas. Last season, Houston lost Kareem Jackson to Denver. After this new season, Bradley Roby and Johnathan Joseph are planning to become the Free Agency. Melvin Gordon did not even get a contract extension. He was able to get back to the Pro Bowl level, but Austin Ekeler was content with the Chargers. Gordon’s capacity was to grab passes out of the backfield, however with the Chiefs wanting a lead running back, Kansas City does seem to be a perfect match for the said player.
