Personal Honorary Gift
On the opposite side of the commemorative present is a handwritten note hand-signed by the bride’s mother. This is what The Duchess of York wrote: “Thank you so much for your incredibly kind and supportive messages for Beatrice and Edo’s future happiness. It was a beautiful day, and the sun shone brightly down on them. We were all overjoyed to be able to gather together and celebrate their love for one another. Beatrice looked gorgeous, and Edo looked dashing—their love shined through.” She further stated, “We are extremely delighted to welcome Edo into our family and appreciate him for his love and commitment to Beatrice.”
Unseen Snapshots
Royal fans were also given to a previously unseen photo of the royal pair, a black-and-white photograph of Princess Beatrice and Edo looking into each other’s eyes. The modest wedding at Windsor was attended by only a few visitors, one of whom was undoubtedly Beatrice’s grandparents, the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh. The small wedding adhered to rigorous health regulations and only permitted up to 30 people to attend.
