Celine built a legendary career. But even the biggest names in the industry have to take some rest sometimes. In 2000, she took time off from performing to spend more time with her family. Celine and Rene tried multiple times to conceive and had even tried help in the form of medical procedures. In January 25th of 2001, their first child Rene-Charles Dion Angelil was born.

She Almost Died
Before she became famous, Celine had a near-death experience. When she was 5 years old, a truck from nowhere hit her and was left unconscious for almost a week. She had a fractured skull but has thankfully fully recovered.
