Certified Diamond
The Recording Industry Association of America or RIAAA started giving recognition in 1999 to albums that have achieve more than 10 million of sold copies. This was called the “diamond status.” Celine not only has one but two albums that are RIAA certified as diamond status. These are “Falling Into You,” and “Let’s talk About Love,” which had been released in 1996 and 1997 respectively.

Record producers began using the Nielson SoundScan system in 1991 to track their albums sales. If you look at Nielson’s data, Celine is one of the best-selling artists in both Canada USA with only Rihanna and Mariah Carey surpassing her records.
