Canada also honors their own and they honored Celine big time. She was given the Companion of the Order of Canada in 2013. It was the highest rank that the Order of Canada can award to anyone.

She’s A Big Philanthropist
One of the reasons the UN offered her the role of a Goodwill Ambassador was the fact that she worked on philanthropic and charitable activities around the world. She has teamed up with several charity organizations such as the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Celine also extends her help to children in need and joined McDonald’s in raising funds for World Children’s Day.
