Her parents weren’t planning on adding one more child because of the challenges of raising 13 children. But it seems that Celine was meant to be in this world. Celine’s husband was the one who convinced her to release “My Heart Will Go On,” even though she was initially hesitant about the song. In an interview with Jonathan Ross, Celine said, ” “[Angélil] said, ‘Let’s just do a demo. Let’s give it a try and we’ll see after.’ The demo is actually the real recording. I never sang the song again.” A sneaky move but a good one to get Celine to record the song. The single immediately became a huge hit once it was released in 1997. The song earned Celine several awards. To this day, it is still one of the most popular songs by the Canadian singer.
