A lot of shopping experts say that you should not buy your rice, especially jasmine rice, at Costco. A frequent shopper at Costco looked into it and realized that she pays 35% more when she gets her rice from Costco. She was comparing it to the prices at a local Asian store. In some cases, the same amount of rice cost $40 at Costco but only cost $14 at a small shop. What a huge difference!
