Bowing
A dog bows when they lower their head while their body remains erect. There are different reasons for dogs to do this but often times it says they want to play. Add this to the more common clues of tail wagging and hip swinging. Some dog trainers refer to this as the “play bow.”
Walking In Circles
Did you ever wonder why your dog goes in a circle before plopping down on the floor? It’s another behavior they inherited from their ancestors. In the wild, wolves would do this to flatten the surface and make it comfortable to lie down on.
