The majority of parents supported Tony’s protests, but some thought the opposite. Due to their clothing choices, the minority was uncomfortable that the girls were being objectified. Those who disagreed with Tony’s ideas were anxious that there would be problems when teenagers were allowed to wear whatever they wanted.

The objective was to guarantee that there would be reasonable decorum within the school premises among the students. It seemed that Raymond J. Fisher Middle School had been dealing with a similar situation in the past, and hopefully, that would be the last one.
