Before dropping Demetra off for school, the father noticed girls wearing clothing similar to his daughter’s. There was a bigger problem, and Tony wondered why his daughter was being singled out.

The fingertip test was one method that the school used to check if an outfit was a suitable length for those who did not know. It was accomplished by placing the hands of the students on their sides and standing straight. When the students’ arms were longer than the trousers, and the teenager’s hands went past the denim, it was considered inappropriate. Tony was upset and was unable to stand the reasoning behind it.
