Fiona Apple
How awesome is it that Fiona Apple has been selected eleven times for a Grammy nomination? The American artist has been in the music business for four decades, but she has not shown signs of leaving yet. On the US rankings, her records have always performed well. In 1996, “Tidal,” her debut release, came out. It has gone platinum since then. They had “Criminal,” who won the Best Female Vocal Rock Performance Grammy.
Dido
You certainly had no idea that Florian Cloud de Bounevialle O’Malley Armstrong was born as Dido. The English singer made it big in 1999 when she launched “No Angel,” her debut album. It sold more than 21 million copies worldwide and won all types of prizes. In 2003, under the pseudonym ‘Life for Rent’, she released a new album and earned further popularity. It had a cover of “Life for Rent” and “White Flag.” Her songs have dominated the charts in the UK, and rightly so.
