Meryl Streep is almost a perfect actress by some. Having never felt the downsides of failure in her acting career, she has won multiple awards and accolades, including the Academy Awards, and is widely considered the best actress the entertainment industry has ever offered. Meryl met well-known sculptor Don Gummer back in 1987, and soon, the two have tied the knot together. Ever since, Don has been affectionate with Meryl and has been her pillar of support for almost four decades! The couple now has a loving family between them; Henry, Mamie, Grace, and Louisa. Meryl and Don, who are now 70 and 72 years old respectively, continue to grow older as time passes, and hopefully they have good health insurance as well. If there are any sort of stereotypes circling (and sometimes even plaguing) celebrity marriages, actress and model Phoebe Cates basically broke most of them to make a quite unusual relationship. Not only the fact that Kevin Kline, her partner in holy matrimony, is 16 years older than her, it’s also the fact that their marriage has lasted well over three decades now. Despite their visible differences, Cates with her interest in film and modeling and her familiarity with stage acting thanks to her father’s involvement in Broadway productions, and Kline’s seriousness in his role as a stage actor, their opposites seem to attract and their chemistry has allowed it to last for this long. Hopefully, this trend keeps up as they continue to make some investments for the future.
