John Krasinski
John Krasinski pursued an array of academic interests at Brown before he became an actor. Before going back to Brown, he spent his first semester teaching English in Costa Rica. “Management of Industrial and Nonprofit Organisations” and also an introductory biology course were said to be his favorite classes.
Edward Norton
At Yale University, the two-time Oscar-nominated actor studied history. There, a back injury forced him to retire early from the crew team. That was when, at the theater, he tried his hand. After graduating, Edward moved to Japan to consult with the nonprofit Enterprise Foundation on behalf of his grandfather. He studied Aikido, a martial art, while there and learned Japanese.
