Few people drink tea from teacups, therefore mugs would be more practical because they could hold more liquid. Teacups also had a sophisticated and out-of-date air about them, and while some people loved to hang them, we didn’t think they’d look well in our houses.

Using Table Doilies
We had fun decorating our end tables and coffee tables with doilies, but we highly urge you to avoid this out-of-style fad. The doilies would detract from the natural beauty of the glass or wood fixtures. Accepting such components as they are and cleaning them on a regular basis is preferable. We should always make sure that these tables look their best.
