After months of a glowing pregnancy, Rose was on her way to one of her routine scans. These were very common and simply checked if the baby was doing ok inside the womb. Rose had considered herself very lucky up to this point, having had very little morning sickness or other pains. However, this time the appointment went anything but normal. Rose walked in with the doctor sat nervously at his desk. She noticed a brown envelope on the desk with a large red stamp saying ‘PRIVATE’, and noticed that he was twiddling his thumbs anxiously. Rose began to worry about the contents of the envelope.

“What’s inside that?”, she asked. The doctor looked towards it anxiously. “Well…it seems as though there has been a huge problem, we can’t quite believe it and we don’t know how it happened”, he replied. “We couldn’t be more sorry”. Rose began to shake as she tried to anticipate what might have happened..
