In the commercial, Melania and the duck experience a Frankenstein-like mad experiment personality switching. She awakens and clucks, “Aflac,” in Gottfried’s voice, at the end of the video. When Melania and Donald were still engaged, they filmed the advertisement. Melania reportedly remarked on the advertisement, “I am very excited to make my acting debut in the latest Aflac commercial,” according to Adweek. I might become recognized for uttering “Aflac” instead of Donald’s trademark phrase, “You’re fired.”

After relocating to New York City in 1996, Melania met Donald Trump in September 1998 at a Fashion Week party. The event was hosted by Zampolli at the Kit Kat Club in Times Square.
