In the past, bright colors like loud yellows, greens, and reds were common. Many believe that it was because they looked forward to a bright post-war future. However, Joyce liked to use soft pastel colors.

She had lots of inspiration when she moved into this house. The house is pretty much a portal to the ‘50s since she did not change the décor, furniture, colors, and appliances there. Aside from that, she was able to keep the home tidy! Everything still looked brand new because of this.
