Carla and Gladys assumed that they had seen everything because they had been in the real estate business for a while. The sisters had dealt with situations that most people would give up on, and they believed they could handle anything. However, before driving to Joyce’s house, the real estate team was already planning what they might find there. Although they had some wild ideas, the reality was nothing like what they had imagined.

Occasionally, the sisters would strike it rich and purchase a home that didn’t require much work and practically sold itself. The realtors had no idea if this was the case with 148 Jane Street, but they were not optimistic.
