Flying Whale
This airplane not only has a superb paint job, but it also has an uncanny resemblance to what is painted on. The Beluga whale resembles this aircraft (except for the wings, of course). Without a doubt, the aircraft painter commissioned for this piece has expertly brought out the parallels between the two entities. If you believe the shape of this airplane is weird, you’re not alone. This is due to the fact that this aircraft is the world’s largest commercial airplane.
Borealis Aurora
Icelandair gave this plane a makeover as part of their “Icelandair Stopover” marketing. The lovely hues of the plane depict the famed Northern Lights. This natural occurrence is what makes the country famous, and it appears that they merely wanted to expose it to the world. This has to be one of the nicest aviation paintings we’ve ever seen. Any country this plane passes over could see the aurora borealis with this paint job!
