She needed to come up with another idea. It was up to her to save the soldiers. Shaking aside her annoyance, Sophie looked for anything else to occupy her time. She desperately looked for something she could stand on as she hurried across the living room. And last, after searching the table while perched on her toes, she discovered something.

A black box
The center of the dining table had a little black box. Sophie took out a chair, climbed to the top, and then gingerly made her way down onto the table. As she descended, she shoved the box off the table. The cardboard box had papers and was full of them. So, Sophie could easily bring it to the door.
