Sophie had a rush of exhilaration. She was getting close. Her efforts wouldn’t go in vain. But something then happened. The chair became stuck after becoming tangled in a rug. The chair started to move once again as Sophie applied a little more force, but this time it wasn’t for the better.

Trapped by the chair
Sophie fell when the chair started to tilt. She hit the ground head-first and was unable to turn around in time to observe that the chair was gradually bending in her direction. The chair suddenly collapsed on top of her before she could react. Sophie cried out when the rigid wooden chair imprisoned her to the floor.
