Priceless Artwork
In 1502, an Italian statesman hired Leonardo da Vinci to paint the Battle of Anghiari. In the 1550s, Giorgio Vasari got commissioned to paint over it. He could not bring himself to do this, which is why there are theories that they built a false wall over it to preserve the original work.

Bats
Two months after he purchased a house, Calvin Oshowy saw that it was full of bats. They were in the walls, attic, and even the ceiling. He had to work hard to seal off all the entry points. On top of this, he built a bat sanctuary outside so that they would hopefully come there inside of the house.
