Sanitize Containers Using Vinegar
Do you dislike scraping mayonnaise, peanut butter, or mustard out of a jar so you can reuse it? Or, even worse, cleaning a sticky vase, decanter, or container of residue? Fill the object partly with vinegar and the other half with warm, soapy water, and set it aside for 10-15 minutes. If you’re cleaning a bottle or jar, close it and give it a good shake; otherwise, use a bottle brush to scrape out any remaining residue before entirely rinsing.

Remove Bugs Using Vinegar
Is your pantry or cupboard infested with moths or other insects? 1 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar, plus a few drops of liquid dish detergent in a small bowl; the bugs will be attracted to it and will drown if they fall into the bowl. Unload the shelves after that and scrub the interior with dishwashing soap or 2 cups baking soda in 1 quart (1 liter) water. All wheat products (bread, pasta, flour, and so on) should be discarded, and canned foods should be thoroughly cleaned before reusing them.
