Lou Thesz
Aloysius Martin “Lou” Thesz is most known as a fourteen-time world champion who held the NWA Heavyweight Title three times for a total of ten years, three months, and nine days (3,749 days) — the longest period in history. He also invented a number of moves, including the STG, Thesz Press, and the German Suplex. We wouldn’t know what the current state of modern wrestling would be without him.

Terry Funk
Terry, like Lou Thesz, is renowned as one of the industry’s longest competitors. He would still battle a variety of wrestlers in the league at the age of 72, and he would not retire until he was satisfied. He assisted the ECW in regaining its former grandeur after it was released from the NWA in 1994.
