The Ceremony
The ceremony took place at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. Meghan was escorted down the aisle by her bridesmaids, page boys and Prince Charles. The couple-to-be met at the altar, where the ceremony began. Reverend Michael Bruce Curry performed a fantastic sermon. Meghan and Harry at this point said their vows and exchanged rings. Following a rule change in 2002, Harry and Meghan could actually have gotten married in Westminster Abbey. The rule change stipulated that divorced people can now be married in the Church of England.

The Windsor Carriage Ride
Upon conclusion of the ceremony, by carriage, the newlyweds travelled through Windsor for all the guests to see. Passing through High Street, the carriage continued through town. After this, the carriage returned via the Long Walk. The Royal family members congregated on the steps of St. George’s to look longingly as Harry and Meghan began their journey; together in life and in the carriage. At this point the newlywed couple shared their first public intimate moment, a kiss.
