Sniffing Around
Dogs are well-known for their incredible sense of smell which is a thousand times better than ours. A dog’s nose contains a whopping 220 million olfactory receptors while humans only have 5 million. When they sniff the ground trying to locate prey or danger, they’ll sometimes quietly stand still. They use their smelling abilities to differentiate people from another. They definitely won’t be fooled by any pair of twins.

When you scold a dog for being naughty, you might get a flipped up tongue as a response. Take note that this is one of their ways of apologizing and showing remorse. But in contrast, it could also be an attempt to look innocent to get away with their misdeeds. It’s hard to say no when they put up that face.
