How amazing would it have to be to be named the “Pop Goddess?” Unfortunately, because this honor went to Cher instead, we will never remember. Oh well, certainly she deserves it. She has changed the landscape of music as we know it, after all. She is not only a brilliant singer, but she is a beautiful actress as well. Did you realize she really had an Oscar in her name?

If you do not know who Patti Smith is, we will not condemn you. After all, she’s not the most traditional individual on the list. Her music is undeniably sweet, even though she is an independent artist. In the New York City punk movement of the ’70s, she was one of the main names. Her debut album is named “Horses” and has influenced several individuals in the field. She joined the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the year 2017.
