Chaka Khan
When it comes to the funk and disco styles, no one is as popular as Chaka Khan. So, you know, her real name is Yvette Marie Stevens, really. For five decades or so, her career continued. As the lead singer of a punk band named Rufus, she began her career. She has also enjoyed a great solo career, though. She was also the first R&B artist to collaborate with a rapper, which she did with “I Fell for You.” With ten Grammys and over 70 million album sales, she is a critical and commercial success.
Dusty Springfield
The reality is that in the United States, Dusty Springfield did not have a tough time making it high. “With “I Really Don’t Know What to Do with Myself” and “Son of Preacher Man,” the British singer took the soul scene by storm. Not just that, but she was a crucial Swinging Sixties icon as well. As she acted, we really liked the sight of her in evening gowns. For five years, the singer had a struggle with cancer but finally lost to it in 1999. She may not be here now, but for a while, her reputation would be here.
