Seth Gilliam As Sugar Watkins
Even though he only appears halfway through the film, this brave and devoted Roughnecks soldier left a lasting effect on the audience. Sergeant Sugar Watkins is a devout follower of Lt. Jean Rasczak. His character arc had revolved around his bravery. When viewers have to say goodbye to this stoic figure, they are always heartbroken because he gives himself away by single-handed slaying as many Warrior Bugs as he can. Rico and Ace are able to flee and survive as a result of his sacrifice.
