Remove Ballpen Marks
Has your budding child artist written all over your desk while playing “office” or used a ballpoint pen to embellish a painted wall in your home? Keep your cool and dab some full-strength white vinegar on the “masterpiece” with a towel or sponge. Repeat until the marks are gone, then go out and get a good big sketch pad for your child.

Clean Your Sticky Scissors
If your scissor blades get sticky or dusty, don’t wash them with water; you’ll rust the fastener that holds the blades together—or the blades themselves—rather than cleaning them. Instead, wash the blades with a cloth soaked in full-strength white vinegar, then dry with a rag or dish towel.
