Simply use a wet cloth dipped in a solution of 1 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon (3.7 liters) warm water to wipe the bricks clean. Remove Wax & Polish Buildup With Vinegar
Use diluted white vinegar to remove any furniture polish or wax that has accumulated on wood furniture or leather tabletops. To remove built-up gloss off wood furniture, soak a cloth in equal parts vinegar and water and squeeze it thoroughly. The polish should then be removed along the direction of the grain. Wipe the surface dry with a gentle towel or cloth. A soft cloth soaked in 1/4 cup vinegar and 1/2 cup water can be used to clean the majority of leather tabletops. Using a clean cloth, absorb any remaining liquid.
