To make you understand just how structurally flawed this mansion was, let’s discuss the living room floors. They were in terrible shape. On the top floor of Jameswood Villa, the floorboards in one room were so rotten that they crumbled whenever someone touched them. Just imagine what could happen if someone were to stand on that flooring! It could spell disaster for them and everyone around.

It goes without saying that this was incredibly dangerous. For this reason, Claire decided to take this flooring out completely. Even though it would require a lot of extra work, safety is the most important thing. It was better for there to be no floorboards rather than have someone fall through with no warning. Seeing as she was involved just like everyone else, she decided to take on this job herself.
