When they saw a foreclosed house in the foothills of the Appalachian going for $75k, Jason and Kerri Brown thought that the 2-bath fixer-upper was a bargain. A Redditor called Nuke Storm bought his new house and discovered a hidden room in the attic corner. He was not informed of this and only noticed it while moving in. He knew it was creepy because the door was around four feet high and came with a metal grate. He opened it and found a small bed, a single light, and foam padding on the wall. However, there was no doorknob from the inside! Whoever stayed there had no way of getting out unless it was opened from the outside. How terrifying is that?
