Wall Of Snakes
Amber and Ben Sessions saw a house in the American countryside for only $180k. They thought that the 5-bed house was a steal until they found out it had a garter snake problem. In fact, the house always looked like it was moving because of all the snakes. They started to get suspicious when they heard all the rustling in their walls. Upon uncovering a side panel, Ben was shocked by how many snakes were there. The place was on top of a snake hibernaculum. The last owners abandoned it after they realized that it was a lost cause. The Session family moved out 3 months later and filed for bankruptcy.
Postcards
Amanda Reddy removed the baseboard on the kitchen of her Cape Cod home from the 1910s when she saw old postcards from 1907 to 1909. They were written out to one Mayme Berneck. She thought the postcards had only fallen behind but found out that they were actually nailed to the wall instead.
